Vicky Hughes, BSc (Hons), MRCSLT, MASLTIP, Reg. HPC
I qualified with an honours degree in Clinical Language Sciences (Speech and Language Therapy) from Leeds Metropolitan
University in 1994 and have experience working in both the private sector and the NHS.
I am a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, the Association of Speech and Language Therapists
in Independent Practice and am registered with the Health Professions Council.

I have worked with children, adults and people with learning disabilities over the past fourteen years, and enjoy
the variety of working with people with a range of communication difficulties.
In March 2002 I gained a certificate in Advanced Dysphagia (Swallowing Disorders) from Manchester Metropolitan University.

Rhoda Badge, BSc (Hons), MRCSLT, MASLTIP, Reg. HPC
I qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in Speech Pathology and Therapy from Manchester University in 1996. Since
this time, I have worked within the NHS and for a charitable organistion. I am a member of the Royal College of Speech
and Language Therapists and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice and I am registered
with the Health Professions Council.

During my career, I have worked with children and young adults up to the age of sixteen, with a variety of difficulties.
For the past 9 years, I have specialised in working with young people with autistic spectrum disorders. I am a qualified
PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) practitioner, and have lots of experience using Social Stories. I also have an
interest within the field of verbal dyspraxia, and have completed training in the Nuffield Centre Dyspraxia Programme.

Behind the scenes, Vicky and Rhoda work together in a supportive way. We are committed to our Continuing Professional
Development, and have regular meetings to reflect and offer each other peer review.
